Inner and outer shells are high-grade precision CNC machined and contain a steel inertia weight. This inertia weight has six (2-ring design) or eight (3-ring design) computer machined grooves to retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application).
Installation Notes
Interference Fit:
Due to the precision machining, the hub is designed for a tight interference fit. You MUST heat the hub to 80°C (in boiling water or an oven) before installation to expand it slightly, allowing it to slide onto the crank snout without damage.
Keyway Check:
Ensure your crank keyway is in good condition. We recommend replacing the woodruff key during installation.
Belt Alignment:
Verify belt alignment with your accessories after installation to ensure the damper is fully seated.
