Barratheworld.com ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://barratheworld.com/) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.
1. General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time, there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfil all your items at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfil the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the back-ordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions, insurance cover and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase.
This price will be the final price for the shipping cost to the customer.
3. Returns
3.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind
Barratheworld.com will happily accept returns due to a change of mind. The request to return must be received by Barratheworld.com within 14 days of receipt of the item.
All items to be returned and returned must be in the original packaging, unused and in a resalable condition.
Please refer to our refund policy for exceptions / non-returnable items.
Return shipping will be paid at the customer's expense and will be required to arrange their own shipping.
Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email.
(Barratheworld.com) will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.
A 25% restocking fee will be applied to any refund, plus the merchant fees for payment processing. (Credit Card 2.5%, Paypal 3%, Afterpay 8%, Zip pay 8%)
3.2 Warranty Returns
Barratheworld.com will happily honour any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 90 days of receipt of items.
Customers will be required to pay the return shipping
Upon return receipt of items for a warranty claim, you can expect barratheworld.com to process your warranty claim within 7 days.
Once the warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:
(a) a refund in-store credit
(b) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)
4. Delivery Terms
4.1 Transit Time Domestically
In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 - 7 days
4.2 Transit time Internationally
Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 4 - 22 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier selected. We are able to offer a more specific estimate when you are choosing your courier at the checkout.
4.3 Dispatch Time
Orders are usually fulfilled and dispatched within 1-3 business days of payment of the order.
Our warehouse operates Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on state and national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.
4.4 Change Of Delivery Address
For a change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.
4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
Barratheworld.com will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer courier services to these locations.

4.6 Items Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will wait for the item to be available before dispatching your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved while we await this item.
4.7 Delivery Time Exceeded
If the delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

4.8 Undeliverable Packages
Occasionally, packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package, we issue a refund minus shipping costs and associated fees. We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, please place a new order on our website.
5. Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.
6. Parcels Damaged In Transit
If you find a parcel is damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with the next steps.

7. Customs, Duties & Taxes
7.1 Sales Tax
Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website
7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
When ordering from Barratheworld.com, you're responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Orders shipped outside of Australia may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; Barratheworld.com has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country, and Barratheworld.com encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

7.3 Customs Forms
To facilitate customs clearance for international shipments, the value of the order will be listed on the customs form. This value will be the order total, including the cost of shipping. For certain items, we may list the product’s value at a lower price, but this is done at our discretion.

7.4 Refused Shipments
If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Barratheworld.com at the customer's expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping and restocking fees as indicated in "3.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind". The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
If you refuse a shipment from Barratheworld.com for reasons other than duties and taxes, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees, duties, and/or taxes that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Barratheworld.com. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. If the return costs exceed the merchandise refund amount, the package will be abandoned, and no refund will be issued.

7.5 Items Held by Customs
If your order is held by customs, the recipient will be responsible for clearing the package and paying any additional charges imposed by the customs authorities. We advise you to contact your local customs office for assistance if your package is held. Barratheworld.com is not responsible for any delays or additional charges caused by customs clearance processes.

8. Cancellations
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations. Cancellations must be requested before the order has been dispatched. Cancellations may incur fees as stated in our refund policy

9. Insurance
Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value of Extra Cover chosen during the checkout process. This is found and selected in the shipping options.
It is your ("the customer") responsibility to choose the appropriate level of Extra Cover for your items.
If your item is valued over $100, it is strongly recommended to purchase Extra Cover which provides compensation for loss or damage for up to $5,000.
Our standard and express services with no Extra Cover come with up to $100 compensation for loss or damage. Should your item be lost or damaged, and you haven’t purchased Extra Cover, you may be entitled to compensation of up to $100 (proof of value may be required). This applies for most items. Claims for compensation are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Used engines and parts bundled on pallets with used engines are not covered by transit freight.
Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, BarraTheWorld.com does not accept liability for any consequential or indirect loss or damage arising due to any failure related to postage or courier service.
Neither the compensation included with postage or courier service nor the purchase of Extra Cover limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
9.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit
We will process a replacement(subject to the cover chosen as stated in "9. Insurance") as soon as the postal or courier service has completed an investigation into the claim.
